Bio

Mark Kenny is a social media strategist and multimedia producer. Mark graduated from Wichita State University, where he earned a 3.7 GPA while studying Communication with an emphasis in electronic media. He moved back to his hometown of St. Louis, Mo., in December 2010. While in Wichita, Mark worked at KPTS where he assisted in studio and field productions for broadcast television. He worked on several projects, such as the governor's 2010 state-of-the-state address, ImpactKansas Week, Ask Your Legislator, Your Kids Are Drinking, and various KPTS promos and pledge drives. Mark also co-produced Prairie Music: Symphony in the Flint Hills which premiered on KPTS in May 2011.

Prior to joining KPTS, Mark worked as a production assistant at KGSO Sports Radio, as the Museum Manager of the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame, and as an Intelligence Specialist in the United States Navy.

Mark is very active in the hemophilia community where he is a member of the National Hemophilia Foundation, the Hemophilia Federation of America and the Changing Possibilities Coalition. In March 2009, HemAware magazine launched an online version of the publication featuring Mark's video My Life With Hemophilia. He is currently developing a social media strategy for the 2012 NHF Annual Meeting.
